SUPPORT local CANDIDATES

As NWPC Sacramento prepares for upcoming elections, we are reminded that our struggle continues.

Women make many sacrifices to run for office and the challenge to raise money can be staggering. That’s why it’s important for all of us not only to endorse qualified women, but to assist monetarily to help advance their campaigns.

Your contributions to our Political Action Committee (PAC) provides financial assistance to our endorsed local women candidates who support NWPC’s bottom-line issues:

• passage of a federal Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the U.S. Constitution,
• a women’s right to choose an abortion as established by the Supreme Court’s 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade (and     support public policy that guarantees equal access to abortion and to a full range of reproductive health services), and
• increased access to child care and other dependent care.

In addition, these women are willing to make our endorsement known.
